Welcome to Shark Bite Miniatures

Shark Bite Miniatures was born in 2021 out of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lexy was always interested in 3D printing, but never had the space or time to get into the hobby. While looking for something to do during lockdown, she came across a sale on a lowly Ender 3 on Amazon. Picking one up to start on a new hobby, she spent the next year learning all she could and figuring out how to get the best prints out of a budget machine.

Then one day she decided to start selling prints on Etsy to pay for the filament she was using to print with, hoping to maybe sell a couple here or there. By the end of the first month she had already sold enough to buy 2 more entire printers, and thus the business began.

Over the next several years machines were upgraded, resin printing was added as an option, and the store began to sell fully painted figurines. The store continued to grow, and after relocating to the Pittsburgh area, we started vending at conventions and shows to become what we are today.
